Using this site and these terms
These terms cover your use of the Temescal Valley Sunrooms & Patios website and any work we quote or do for you. By using the site, asking us for a quote or hiring us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
When you hire us, your signed contract sets the details of your job. If the contract and these terms ever disagree, the contract wins.
What we do
Temescal Valley Sunrooms & Patios is a sunroom contractor based in Temescal Valley, CA. We design and build sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms, solariums and patio covers for homes in Temescal Valley and the cities around it. You can see our services on our home page and read about who we are on our About page.
What's on this site is general information about our work. It isn't a quote, a design or advice for your house, because every job depends on what we find when we're there in person.
Estimates and pricing
Quotes are free, we give them on site, and you're under no obligation to hire us. A quote is based on what we can see and measure at the visit and on material prices at that time, so it holds only for the period written on it.
If we open up the job and find something nobody could see at the estimate, such as rot, damaged framing or a slab that won't carry the room, we'll stop and talk with you first. We don't do extra work or charge for it without a written change order you've agreed to.
Scheduling and cancellation
We'll give you a start date and a rough schedule when you sign. Weather, material deliveries, inspections and approvals can move those dates, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.
If you need to reschedule, call us as early as you can. If you cancel after signing, you keep any right to cancel that California law gives you, and outside of that you're responsible for work already done and for materials ordered for your job that can't be returned.
Payment terms
Your contract lists the price, any deposit and when each payment is due, and any deposit will stay within what California law allows. Final payment is due when the work in the contract is finished, unless your contract says otherwise.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's paid. We may also use the lien rights state law gives contractors for unpaid work on a property.
Warranties
Any warranty on our workmanship for your job is the one written in your contract. Windows, panels, roofing and other products carry their maker's own warranty, and we'll pass that paperwork along to you.
Beyond your contract and the makers' warranties, this site and our services come as they are, without other warranties, to the extent the law allows. Warranties don't cover damage from misuse, changes made by others, lack of upkeep, or storms and other events outside our control.
Limits on our liability
Temescal Valley Sunrooms & Patios is licensed and fully insured. To the extent California law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability on a job is limited to what you paid us for that job.
We aren't responsible for how you use the information on this site or for outside sites it links to. Nothing in these terms takes away a right the law doesn't let a business limit.
Settling a disagreement
If something isn't right, call us first at (951) 336-8162, because most problems get fixed fastest by talking it through on site. If we can't settle it between us, we'll both try mediation in good faith before either of us goes to court.
Which law applies
These terms and our work are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any court case about them goes to the state courts in Riverside County, California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the one in effect. A change doesn't alter a contract you've already signed.
If you have a question about these terms, reach us through our Contact page.
