About your Temescal Valley sunroom contractor

How I got into building sunrooms
I learned this trade young, building patio covers and enclosures, and then I spent a lot of years away from it in other work. I came back because I missed building something you can stand in, and in 2023 I started Temescal Valley Sunrooms & Patios with everything I'd picked up both times around.
Most of our calls come from folks with a bare patio, an old deck or a tired cover who want a room they'll really use. When I came back, I heard from a lot of people who'd been sold a room that didn't fit how they live, so I'd rather talk you into a smaller job than sell you the wrong one. Temescal Valley sits outside any city, so Riverside County sets the rules for a room here, and I want you to know exactly what you're buying before you sign anything. You can see the kinds of rooms we build on our home page.

What working with us looks like
One person, first visit to final walk-through
I come out to look at the job and do the measuring myself, and I run our crew on site while we build, so the plan we agree on is the plan we build. When the room needs electrical or heating and cooling work, we bring in licensed trades for it.
Seasonal or heated room, decided first
Before any price gets written, we work out with you whether you want a seasonal room or one that's heated and cooled, because that one choice shapes the walls, the glass and the rest of the job. I'll ask plenty of questions about how you'll actually use the room, and sometimes the honest answer is a smaller one.
Problems found on paper
We check what your room will sit on, whether that's a slab, an old deck or bare ground, and how it ties into the house wall, so problems show up on paper and not after the walls are up. Your estimate spells out what's included in plain words so you can lay it next to another bid, and you can ask for a free one here with no obligation.
Licensed for the work we do
California contractor license
The state contractors license board requires a license to build or alter a structure whenever the job needs a building permit, uses extra workers or totals $1,000 or more in labor and materials, which takes in just about any sunroom. We're licensed and fully insured, and when your room needs a permit we put together the plans and paperwork, file with the county or city building office for your address and are there for the inspections.
